SCCTC Mobile Career Center
The SCCTC Mobile Career Center brings SCCTC-related career modules to all city and county 8th grade Middle Schools in Clark County, Ohio. Students interact with computer software that guides them through various steps utilizing hands-on training. For example, students may cut wood, take blood pressures, replace faucet components, perform a manicure, modify an electronic image or talk over a real laser beam!

- The Center is a fully contained mobile unit that is delivered to the host school.
- Typically there is one student per station, except for healthcare where 2 students are required.
- There are 11 stations allowing for 12 students to experience a career module per session.
- Sessions are designed for approximately 40 minutes each.
- Students are assigned to a module by the host school based upon results from a career assessment or student interest.
- All equipment, supplies and Center Coordinator are provided by SCCTC.
- Electrical hookup (220 V, 50 Amp service, twist-lock connector) is provided by the hosting school.
