CTP Software Program Design

Computers are the engines that drives our economy. As the computer industry continues to grow, new job opportunities emerge. Exciting careers from IT specialists, to software programmers, to interactive media specialists, are becoming more and more desirable. The SCCTC Information Technology curriculum focuses on the key elements of these IT-related careers and gives our students a strong base of knowledge and experience, giving them an advantage in the competitive marketplace.

Students will solve business computer problems through programming techniques and procedures, using appropriate languages and software. Primary emphasis will be placed on object oriented program code found in program languages such as Visual Basic, XHTML, ActionScript and JavaScript. Students will receive hands-on training to design, develop, test, document, implement and maintain applications.
