Nurse Aide remains on the list of "high-growth job opportunities" and you will get the skills needed to compete successfully in this work force.

Do you enjoy talking with people and feel energized by helping someone directly? Entry level nursing skills are taught in the Nurse Assisting lab, stimulating a hospital or health care setting. Then students are exposed to real life experiences in area Long Term Care facilities such as Heartland, Oakwood, Forest Glen and Eaglewood.

The potential for advancement in health care will never stop. This Nurse Assisting program is a wonderful stepping stone for this career field. It provides students with skills they can use to earn money while pursuing advanced degrees. Starting salary range at area facilities is $8.50 - 14.00 per hour. For all area post-secondary opportunities this Nurse Aide Training Program is a requirement for a Registered Nursing degree.
