At SCCTC, we recognize the opportunity that exists for our students, and thus, tailor our curriculum to give students a solid base of knowledge that will best prepare them for their chosen fields. From nursing assistants to dental assistants, our program offers the hands on experience that helps our students succeed. Armed with this practical education experience, SCCTC students are better prepared to enter the workforce or to transition seamlessly into post graduate studies.

College Tech Prep Health Occupations Technologies offers training in a cluster of healthcare occupations. The skills learned complement the work of health care professionals.

This non-traditional education experience will provide clinical exploration that will allow the student to investigate and observe clinical professionals in a variety of health care facilities, gaining a better perspective on the health care system. It is recommended that students complete Algebra I and Biology before enrolling in this program.

Students may earn college credits at Clark State Community College by successfully completing this program. The training offered will help students find an entry-level position in a hospital or state tested nurse aide position. Many students will choose to continue their education at a four-year university, community college, or technical institute. CSCC provides the opportunity to earn a Tech Prep scholarship totaling $2,400 for students who meet academic and attendance requirements.
