Hands-on experience is the key element to the success of the SCCTC Human Services program. Our students learn about their chosen profession first hand in exciting, real life work environments. From dealing with clients, to managing basic accounting, to perfecting styling skills and techniques, this broad based curriculum gives our graduates the experience they need to get off to a strong start.

Are you creative? Do you like to work with people? You may want to consider the opportunities the Cosmetology Program has for you. Looking your best requires attractively styled hair and nicely manicured nails, as well as tastefully applied make-up to go with professional looking attire.

Students develop skills through hands-on practice as well as textbook instruction that is required by the National Skills Standards. At the end of their senior year, students will take the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology Exam to receive their license.

Our Cosmetology Program is licensed by the state of Ohio.
