Students who enroll in the Business & Administrative Services career field, study a core curriculum which includes Microsoft Office 2007 software training, business and development principles and the Internet.
Become a true "Office Professional." This program is for students who want to work in an office environment. You learn the skills needed to work as an office professional in the business world. Every type of business needs office workers, so the opportunities of working in different areas are wide open. The Administrative Assistant program is for students interested in a career working with computer technology who may want to attend college to get an associate or bachelor's degree or go immediately into the workforce. Students may enter the program as a junior or senior.
MOS Certification (testing through Microsoft Corporation for certifi cation in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access programs) is an added bonus. Microsoft is the world's most popular business software. This certification is preferred by many employers. It is proof to employers that you have achieved a high level of competence in each of these business applications. Students also have the opportunity to earn up to 15 college credits through Clark State Community College
